Appointments

• All fittings are by appointment only.
• A first fitting fee of £50 applies and is payable when booking.
• Please give at least 48 hours' notice to rearrange or cancel. Late cancellations or missed appointments may lose the fitting fee.
• Please bring your wedding shoes and the underwear you plan to wear to every fitting.

Quotes & pricing

Every gown is assessed individually. Prices on our website are guide prices only; your final quote is confirmed after your first fitting and depends on the construction, fabric, detailing and complexity of the work. If further work is needed once alterations begin, we will always discuss it with you before going ahead.

Deposits & payment

• A deposit is required to secure your alterations and reserve time in our schedule.
• The remaining balance is due before your gown is collected.
• Express and SOS services carry an additional charge, agreed in advance.

Timescales

We recommend booking 12 weeks before your wedding. Shorter timescales may be possible through our Express or SOS services, but cannot be guaranteed until we have seen your gown. Delays caused by late arrival of your gown, missed fittings or changes in size may affect agreed dates.

Your gown

We take great care of every garment in our studio. Some fabrics, vintage pieces and embellishments carry natural risks during alteration; where this applies we will explain them before starting. Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the affected part of the garment, up to its value as originally purchased.

Changes in size

Alterations are made to fit you at your final fitting. We are not responsible for refitting caused by changes in body shape after the final fitting, though we are always happy to help at an additional cost.

Collection

Please collect your gown within 14 days of your final fitting. Gowns left for longer than 90 days without contact may be disposed of in line with the law, after reasonable attempts to reach you.

Cancellations & refunds

If you cancel after work has begun, we may keep a fair amount to cover the work already completed and any materials purchased. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
